Flanker Div. has been designed by the D-Tec® experts in line with this inspiration: manufactured in 100% full grain cowhide and soft full grain leather, its aggressive graphics and highly competitive price conceal important new features. Starting from the consideration that two-piece suits often suffer from wearability problems, as they are created from a compromise between the top and bottom pieces, the Dainese R&D department worked mainly to address the wearability of this garment. The solution was found in the use of a double elasticated band in the fastening area of the two pieces. This brings considerable benefits: the garment is now more streamlined and close fitting, conferring comfort to the rider in every position. Another elasticated band has been inserted in the shoulder blade, to ease movements when bent low to the bike while riding. In addition, the adjustable side fastener is lower than those previously produced, enabling the upper piece of the suit to be used as a real jacket. With respect to safety, the new fixed composite knee protector is a notable innovation. Positioned inside the suit, it forms a sort of techno-crafted knee, with a leather/protector coupling to improve safety and comfort thanks to the minimized inner and outer stitching. Without mentioning that this cleaner design also improves the look of this new protector, which is now far more pleasing. Also new is the articulated shoulder, which uses a new type of composite protector able to distribute shock over multiple protective pads, absorbing it with less harm to the body.
